Stephanie completed her RYT 200-hour at the Santosha Yoga Institute in Bali, Indonesia (2018). She’s been practicing yoga since she was a teen, but it wasn’t until she met Ari that she really fell in love with the practice. Ari, a soldier who had survived two deployments in Afghanistan, used yoga in its many forms (asana (poses and movement) + pranayama (breath) + philosophy) to manage his symptoms of post-traumatic stress. He inspired her to delve deeply into her own journey of the self and continues to inspire her even after leaving this earthly realm. She hopes to bring yoga to a wide range of people and communities by inspiring others to embark on their own yoga journey. A former elementary school teacher, and postpartum doula, she is nurturer at heart, and hopes to create a comfortable and welcoming environment in all of her classes.
